Support Build a Computer Training Center -Dr. John Rawls computer training school
We are raising funds to build a computer training school (ICT) for a cost of 6,000,000 Birr ($46,150). We have a new commitment of $28,000 from the Kemal Foundation, leaving $18,150 to be raised from individuals like you!
The school, upon completion, will serve up to 50 students at a time who have completed high school and are seeking job-enhancing skills. Classes will include basic computer skills, programming, using applications for office use, web development, etc. Teaching staff and internet access have been committed by the Gondar City Education Bureau.

Feeding Program
Feeding Program
There are currently two active support programs for Addis Alem students and their families who are most in need.
The first is the Addis Alem Family Assistance Program, initiated by Habibu, which provides $100 annually to help each of 10 families. Our goal is to expand this support to 50 families by next year.
The second is a breakfast program originally run by the city for kindergarten students, offering daily bread and milk. Thanks to the generous contributions of Cynthia Dickinson and Habibu, an additional 114 first-grade students were recently added to the program, funded with 124,000 birr to support them through the end of the year (at a cost of 55 birr per student per day).
You are welcome to support or participate in either of these impactful initiatives.

A public school founded in 1942 (1934 in the Ethiopian calendar). The school educates a total of 1,630 children from Kindergarten through Grade 8. Currently has 11 classrooms, which has on average 90 students per class. All of the existing classrooms at the school are in poor condition and need to be renovated, as well as an additional block of new classrooms is needed in order to reduce the class sizes.
